Well, after two very busy days at the granddaddy show of them all, I can say that the ice fishing industry is as vibrant and healthy as ever! So many folks are wanting to learn and expand thier base, as evidenced by the numbers of people walking the floors, attending seminars, and bringing kids to the show.
It is exciting to see groups of kids, from younger, middle school age fishing clubs, to high school fishing teams, and grandkids there with grandparents. It is especially exciting to see the lady anglers, especially the ones introducing other ladies to the sport they obviously love.
I will be at the Fargo show next weekend, only this time representing Clam and Ice Team. I am looking forward to speaking at this first-year show, presenting my seminar entitled "Fishing the Wild West" Friday at 5:30PM. I really hope to see some of you there!
In the mean time, be safe out there!
